Father's Day/My Birthday

We spent the day together, outside at the pool.  The kids are all worn out, and sunkissed. Hope everyone had a nice fathers day.  Aiden and Aly head to Day camp this week, Ethan will be at reading camp, and I will be teaching a computer camp.

Another day outside....

We are enjoying the weather, and spending as much time outside as possible. Today we packed a lunch and headed to the aquatic center again. The kids love it, and come home all tuckered out...

Some of our favorite places...

The Academy of the Sacred Heart, shown here at Sunset...but is lovely and peaceful anytime of day...this is Aly's school!

The "Swamp" at night...on UL's campus.  You can't say it's quiet, because there are so many animal sounds it's amazing...but it is SO peaceful, and the kids love it.

Weekend fun!

Today we got up and decided to go try out the aquatic center on campus...it's free and they have family hours on weekends when students may bring their families. Ends up, it's a super nice facility...and now a place we will likely spend lot's of time on weekends. Here are some pictures....
Aly underwater, being silly! These photos are being taken with our Olympus shock proof/water proof...its the 720 I think, the oldest one we've had the waterproof camera for two years now...and I really love not having to worry about getting it wet at the pool!
                                                                        Aly drying out.
Brotherly Love!
Aiden and Daddy shooting hoops!
Ethan getting ready to splash me!

It is nice that the university has so many amenities...we should of taken advantage of them a little sooner!

Ahhhh the Lazy Days of Summer!

Whoever coined that phrase didn't have 3 kids!! Today the first summer camp that I am teaching began, Ethan is in daycamp this week, and Aiden and Aly are being Mommy's helpers... Here's some pictures from last week.

One of my very good friends had a card that allowed the kids to ride unlimited times for free on the rides at the state fair, so our kiddo's and her daughter (Aly's favorite friend) Naomi had a great time! The water park pictures are from our local sprinkler park, the kids and I spent an afternoon there last week!
